Diego Maradona appeared to deliberate taking a phone call before thinking better of it while managing Mexican second-tier side Dorados de Sinaloa.
The Argentina legend looked set to answer his phone on the touchline during Thursday’s Apertura Quarter Finals first leg at the Estadio Banorte.
In a game that ended goalless, Maradona was also sent off and is now banned for “inciting the public against the match officials”, says the disciplinary report of the Mexican Football Federation.
Well, it's not smart to ignore your dealer when he wants his money.
Especially in Sinaloa.
