A man was filmed falling into a body of water below him while attempting a trick as he balanced perilously on an overhanging tree.

Shot in an undisclosed location, the clip shows the young guy in sports gear holding on to a leafless tree that extends over the river.

Though he manages to balance the ball on one foot for a moment, it quickly drops into the water after which he inexplicably gives a successful hand sign up to the camera.

Shortly following, he falls in too when a dead branch gives way beneath him.
