Following Manchester City’s triumphant victory over local rivals United, former-Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher did a Balotelli and turned up at the post-match press conference.

He sat in Roberto Mancini’s seat and addressed the waiting journalists:

“What do you want to know lads? Top of the league. Well done City.”

“Ferguson must have been on the whisky”

“I love Mancini, he is nearly as cool as me”

A few laughs from the press later, he greeted the incoming captain Kompany with a hug and a:

“Viva La Belgium”

After being pictured in the stands exhibiting various states of cheer, Gallagher capped off a great day as he met Diego Maradona who was at the game watching his son-in-law Sergio Aguero:
