Watch Arsenal’s Gervinho miss against Bradford in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night.
The Gunners crashed out of the league tournament and Bradford City become the first team from the lowest division to reach the semi-final of the competition since Wycombe Wanderers in 2006.
The match finished 1-1 after extra time and Bradford went on to beat Arsenal 3-2 on penalties in front of a capacity crowd at the Coral Windows Stadium.
Penalty misses from Santi Cazorla, Marouane Chamakh and Thomas Vermaelen ensured victory for the Bantams, who have now won their last nine penalty shoot-outs.
Vermaelen eventually equalised for Arsenal in the eighty-eighth minute. Gervinho had a big chance to make it 1-1 just before half-time but missed an open goal…
