A fan knocked on the window of the Sky Sports studio to attract Gary Neville’s attention during post-match coverage of Man Utd’s 2-0 win at Newcastle.

The former Red Devils defender was about to discuss Magpies boss Rafael Benítez when his analysis was interrupted by some banging from behind.

After teeing up his point with “the interesting thing is…”, he hears the noise and turns to face the unseen person, saying, “Are you alright?”

He then laughs, before continuing to explain how Newcastle fans are standing by their manager despite the team’s poor form.

We hear shouting and see a hand waving in the background, which Neville once again turns to acknowledge with a mock ‘unsettled’ facial expression.

Worst Valencia performance since Gary Neville was a manager.

His old club won 2-0 at St James’s Park on Wednesday night thanks to goals from Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford.

They have now won all four of their games so far under Neville’s old team-mate Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
