Watch the cheeky Everton mascot handshake trick on the matchday officials as a young boy fools the referee and his assistant before the clash with Spurs at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Walking in the handshake parade that has become as staple of the Premier League matchday process, the child offers his hand to the officials before withdrawing it quickly and gesturing by putting his hand up to face in a neener-neener fashion.

Golazo Clips, the video uploader who refers to the gesture as a “five finger salute”, included the following blurb:
One of my favorite traditions in soccer is when the players walk out onto the field hand-in-hand with children in the team’s uniform. Music blares. Everyone shakes hands. It’s a nice way to start things off.
During the pregame to Sunday’s Everton/Tottenham Premier League match at Goodison Park, a young kid in Everton colors walked the handshake line and made sure to let his feelings toward the refs be known with the ol’ five finger salute.
It would have been a lot funnier if the refs, in the spirit of the moment, flashed a red card at the kid.
