A pair of ducks took to the pitch during Moss Bank Junior vs Barr Hill in the Bolton, Bury & District Football League Chairman’s Cup final.
Play was stopped in the Lancashire match by the arrival of a couple of feathered pitch invaders, with a player having to intervene to shoo them off from the field of play.

Sure enough the ducks flew away and the match was was able to continue, with Moss Bank eventually emerging triumphant ,winning 2-0 to lift the trophy.
The Lancashire Football Association tweeted about the incident, nicknaming the anatine duo Donald and Daffy.
