A dog with a football boot in its mouth interrupted a game between The Strongest and Nacional Potosí midway through the second half.

The Strongest beat Nacional Potosí by three goals to nil at home in their Hernando Siles Stadium in a Bolivian Primera División clash between the two sides on Thursday night.

But the main talking point came in the 66th minute of the match when a cheerful dog managed to make it onto the pitch.

Some play and stroking ensued before the animal was carried away to safety in the arms of The Strongest midfielder Raúl Castro.
