Diogo Jota attempted a Scouse accent in his Liverpool signing video, approaching the camera and saying “what’s ‘appenin’?” with a local twang.
The Portuguese forward joined Jürgen Klopp’s reigning champions from Wolverhampton Wanderers for a reported fee of £41m.

And he scored on his debut on Monday night after entering the field as a second-half substitute for Sadio Mané during a 3-1 win over Arsenal at Anfield.
He recently also got his first goal for Portugal, in a 4-1 UEFA Nations League victory over Croatia.
