Watch the moment in Real Madrid’s 3-2 win at Sevilla when Cristiano Ronaldo’s missed penalty hit a fan in the face, a fan who happened to be filming it.
Sarah Arcand was over from Canada and presumably would have been happy to go home with a self-taken clip of Ronaldo scoring as a keepsake.
She probably didn’t reckon with the ball cannoning in her direction and hitting her square in the face and/or smartphone.
Mind you, if she’d seen Ronaldo’s penalty miss for Portugal against Bulgaria the previous week, she might have come prepared.

Not sure that Cristiano Rinaldo meant to welcome me with a black eye but this Canadian football fan will take the penalty kick to the face as an excellent memory from one of the best.
