João Cancelo spotted his Juventus team-mate Paulo Dybala’s prank on the big screen while they waited to receive their Supercoppa Italiana winners’ medals.
Argentina forward Dybala placed a sheet of confetti over Cancelo’s back but was rumbled when the Portuguese defender spied his antics on the jumbotron.
He smiles and gestures to the screen to indicate to Dybala that he’s been caught red-handed.
In the game itself, Massimiliano Allegri’s Juve beat AC Milan 1-0 at the King Abdullah Sports City stadium in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s 61st minute goal sealed the victory, with Milan’s Ivorian defender Franck Kessié getting sent off twelve minutes later.
The Supercoppa Italiana is an annual showpiece match contested by the previous season’s winners of the Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
