Adelaide United’s Nathan Konstandopoulos was hit in the head by a pass from a teammate during a 2-0 defeat in Sydney on Friday night.
The young Australian midfielder was struck with quite some force by a misplaced pass while standing in the centre circle at the Leichhardt Oval in New South Wales, a few metres in front of his assailant.
Enemies? That's a completed pass thank you.

Konstandopoulos’s opposite number for Sydney, Iranian forward Reza Ghoochannejhad, appeared to applaud as he stood in close attendance while the ball hit the player.
The result leaves Adelaide eleven points behind Sydney in the A-League, in fourth place.
