The Motherwell team were forced to make alternative plans for their trip home following a 1-1 draw with Hibernian on Sunday, as the team bus got stuck under a bridge on New Street in Edinburgh.

There were no reported injuries and damage to the coach was said to be “minimal”.

Players Jamie Murphy, Henrik Ojamaa and Omar Daley tweeted about the event, with Ojamaa jokingly comparing the bus driver’s performance with his own disappointing appearance that afternoon.
