Alfred N’Diaye made his Premier League debut for Sunderland in the Black Cats’ 3-2 win at Wigan Atletic on Saturday, so Football Burp mosied on down to Mackems message board Ready To Go to see what the Stadium of Light faithful had to say about their new French midfielder…

Alfred N’Diaye debut impresses Sunderland fans

ProfessionalMackem…

Good solid debut. Cracking cross for 2nd goal. Should’ve scored though.

flanny1…

Great debut, covered most of the field and was able to cause them problems while disrupting their attacks

softley8009…

Excellent positive early signs. Great movement and solid defensively. Tired badly towards the end of the game.

WillD…

Looks like an excting player for the future, no holds barred tough tackling midfielder, great debut.

Aberdeen Angus…

Certainly added muscle in the middle, put in a lovely knock for the second but was also very sloppy at times with the ball.

James…

I can’t wait to see this lad when he’s at full fitness. He’s constantly looking forward to influence play, a lot of potential.

Captain_Fishpaste…

Only 4% of his attempted passes went backwards today. Very impressive.

James…

That’s what I like to see. His cross for Fletcher was superb, he looks naturally both footed.

mackembhoy…

Said in the summer we needed our own big vic (victor wanyama) the only two realistic signings I saw us able to make from my own knowledge were stephen nzonzi and mohammed diame.

We failed to sign both, but it looks like we have our own big vic in big alf.

Great performance today and he looked half fit and was a cut above and exactly what we have been missing.

Banana Boy…

Looks good, if he meant that cross then I’m very excited. Fuck all could get past him.

SAFC 2012…

Gets forward quite a bit considering he was playing defensive mid

tim27w…

Cant believe we have a midfielder who is comfortable on either foot, refreshing and great to see!

karlm14…

soon as it left his foot i shouted ‘Ball’ was absolute quality and it looked effortless.

i think for the first 5/10 he looked very nervy and held on to the ball when he should have really passed and visa verca, but once he settled in he was brilliant.

N’Diaye Oohhh Ohhhh
He come from Bursaspor
To Hear the roker road
N’diaye Ooh ohhhhh

TopCat…

Also, a lot of his play was one touch which was encouraging

Church…

Was less noticeable in the second half, probably due to match fitness and the change in tactics, but he was fucking everywhere in the first. Absolutely fucking massive frame on him too – if we wanted a midfield powerhouse then we certainly have found one. Awesome. Can’t wait to see the other lad in there too.

Who said our scouts were shit?
