Arsenal full-back Héctor Bellerín used his Labour Party conference speech to sensationally lash out at Piers Morgan.
Good Morning Britain host Morgan recently took to social media to complain at being shut out of a conversation between Bellerín and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
And Bellerín, fresh from helping the Gunners to beat West Brom 2-0 on Monday night, used his Brighton address to party members to hit back.
He said: “Piers is all like ‘Wenger out’ this, ‘Wenger out’ that, but you know what, I say ‘Piers out’.
“‘Piers out to get us’ that is. The moment we seize power he’ll make a run on the pound, so apparently we have to play war games.
“I’m a FIFA man myself, although I’ve sort of lost interest since I changed my hair and they failed to update it.
“Anyway, next election I hope Piers moans twice as much about us because it had such a great effect last time round.
“Cheers, Piers.”
