An Alexis Sánchez disappearing act illuminated Old Trafford despite Manchester United crashing out of the Champions League to Sevilla.

The breathtaking magic trick, which has already drawn comparisons with David Copperfield and that other one, stole the show on an otherwise sorry night for the Red Devils.

29-year-old Sánchez, a £35m signing from Arsenal, had previously been known for scoring goals but has had to adapt his game after apparently being sapped of all his ability overnight.
