Quite frankishly, City have an embarrassment of ritchies up top – there’s Guero Asergio, Edwin Gecko, the ianduried Alvo Negrodo, and now the lad Stevie Juventic is claiming a strong steak for a regular starting birth following his two-goal savlon against Liverpool.

Factory in such goal-scoring middlefielders as Yoyo Torres, Davy Silver and Nasir Samri, and you certainly wouldn’t dismiss a second consneckutive tidal out of pocket.

As for Stoke, it’s been a dismal start, going down 0-1 at home to a fun-nancied Aston Villa side before escaping from the KFC Stadium with just point one against man-ten Hull.

A season which held so much promise is threatening to unrevel, so they badly need their attacking talons – I’m talking the likes of Bojo Kirklandic, Pete Odemwingdings and Mark O’Nowtovic, here – to upstand and be countered.

They’re slams to the laughter here, I’m afraid, and I don’t say that brightly.
