All the best Manchester United Howard Webb jokes after the most highly rated Premier League referee announced his retirement from officiating matches on Wednesday.

Webb was generally seen, according to Piers Morgan, as “the least incompetent referee in British football” and recently had the honour of taking control of a World Cup final.

He’ll also be remembered for his perceived fondness of Manchester United, appearing to consistently award Sir Alex Ferguson’s side penalty decisions and additional time at the end of the game.
