
Jermaine Jenas has called time on his playing career, much to the bemusement of everyone – let’s face it, we all thought he’d retired already.
Jenas last kicked a ball in anger, or whatever his equivalent of anger might be, for Queens Park Rangers in 2014, appearing regularly as a pundit ever since.
Since most people had assumed TV analysis to be Jenas’s full-time career now, there were plenty of jokes flying around about his shock retirement announcement…
