Recommended selections this week include players from Everton, Sunderland, Southampton and Bournemouth.
Leighton Baines, Everton – £6.1m
He’s back! At least as much might be apparent from this old fantasy favourite’s performance in the 3-3 draw at Chelsea, in which he claimed two assists and picked up two bonus points. Sunday’s home game against Swansea is a decent chance for a clean sheet too.

Charlie Daniels, Bournemouth – £4.5m
The Cherries’ first-choice penalty taker scored a spot kick as well a claiming an assist and a clean sheet in the 3-0 win over Norwich, earning the kind of monster points haul that makes him hard to ignore ahead of this weekend’s trip to Sunderland.
Speaking of Sunderland, how about £4.6m Patrick van Aanholt? Somehow he’s managed to score in each of his last three matches, adding an assist in one of them.

Matt Targett, Southampton – £3.7m
That’s a scarcely believable price for a player who’s racked up scores of 11 and 12 in his last two games, courtesy of an assist and clean sheet in each. Away to Man Utd may not seem like the best match to bring him in for, but bear in mind Saints won that fixture 1-0 last season.
