You get some crazy score-lines early in the season so beware, but this looks as likely a clean sheet as any this Gameweek.

Sergio Romero, Man Utd – £5m
Louis van Gaal’s decision to start the Argentine ahead of the want-away David de Gea took many by surprise, but he registered a clean sheet against Spurs and can be confident of doing so again at Aston Villa.

Maarten Stekelenburg, Southampton – £5m
The Saints won 3-0 at home to Everton in last season’s fixture, and the Toffees didn’t look any more penetrating in their opening day draw with Watford.

Boaz Myhill, West Brom – £4.5m
On paper – er, again – the Baggies’ trip to newly promoted Watford looks an awkward one, especially after their 2-2 opening day draw at Everton, but this is a Tony Pulis side we’re dealing with here.
What’s more, they’ll be wanting to bounce back from the 0-3 defeat at home to Man City. A clean sheet will go some way towards achieving that.

Łukasz Fabiański, Swansea – £5m
On paper Swansea look a good bet for a clean sheet at home to Newcastle, but the same fixture ended 2-2 last season so approach with caution.
