Away to Swansea is no easy fixture, but if the Belgian is indeed back to his formidable best – as looks to be the case – then he’s capable of scoring against anyone.

The home side’s £8.6m Wilfried Bony is of course a good shout too.

Pelle, Southampton – £8.1m

Seems to have recovered some of his goal-scoring mojo going into Friday’s trip to struggling Crystal Palace.

Well, any of Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Radamel Falcao – RVP could conceivably bag two or three at home to Newcastle on Friday, Rooney has a great record against the Magpies, while Falcao scored in the 1-1 draw at Villa last time out.

He may be the most expensive of the three but we’re backing van Persie here – he may not have scored against Villa, but if anything that makes him even likelier to score this time.

That is if he plays – beware the squad rotation enforced by a hectic Christmas schedule – but he came off after 60 minutes at Villa so should be relatively rested.
