A new season’s Fantasy Premier League is here, so do consider the following three potential West Ham bargains.
The Hammers have been far from impressive in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League thus far, accumulating three red cards in the process, but their early start could help them build up a head of a steam during the Premier League’s opening stages.
Their flying start to the last campaign under Sam Allardyce failed to last, but what of former player Slaven Bilić? Perhaps he can inspire some of his charges to make West Ham bargains of themselves…
Diafra Sakho, forward – £6.5m
Scored at an impressive rate last season, racking up 10 goals in 23 league appearances, so if he can stay fit he should be the focal point of Bilić’s attack.
Aaron Cresswell, defender – £5.5m
Not particularly cheap at that price, unless he steps up another level from his impressive debut campaign and manages even more goals and assists – and who’s to say he won’t?
Adrián, goalkeeper – £5m
One of last season’s highest-scoring goalkeepers in the FPL realm, although this is not reflected in his relatively low price tag.
