Fantasy Premier League tips are coming at you club-by-club – on these pages, anyway – so pray silence as we single out some potential Swansea City bargains.

Garry Monk’s Swans showed enough attacking threat towards the end of last season to suggest that they could challenge for a top-half finish this time around, although much may depend on whether they hold onto star centre-forward Wilfried Bony.

The Ivorian isn’t the only one at the Liberty Stadium who could provide some bang for your buck in 2014-15, mind, so come have a gander at our Swansea-centric Fantasy Premier League tips…

Gylfi Sigurðsson – £6m

The Icelandic midfielder was a hit during his last spell at the Liberty, scoring an impressive 7 goals in 18 Premier League games.

Suffice it to say, if he can carry on that sort of ratio across a whole season then he’ll be downright essential.

Bafétimbi Gomis – £7m

Could the French international forward be this year’s Bony? His record in Ligue 1 – 44 goals in the last three seasons, 68 in all competitions – suggests he very well could be.

With Ecuador winger Jefferson Montero also on board, the Swans could carry a potent attacking threat this season. Definitely a surprise package in the making.

Jonjo Shelvey – £5.5m

Six goals and seven assists represented a very decent debut season for the 22-year-old midfielder at Swansea, and he’s young enough to forecast improvement.

Shame you don’t get any extra points for goal of the season contenders.
