A new season of Fantasy Premier League is upon us, so do consider the following three potential Liverpool bargains.

Last season was a bit of a post-Suárez wobble for Brendan Rodgers’s Reds but they’ve invested heavily again in proven Premier League performers and can have every confidence of challenging for a top four finish.

Some of those newcomers are really quite reasonably priced, too – check out these Liverpool bargains…

Christian Benteke, forward – £8.5m

Ended last season pretty much on fire at Aston Villa, allaying fears that he’d lost his way following an explosive debut season.

If Rodgers can harness the Belgian’s powerful attributes, he could very conceivably be in for a 20-goal season.

James Milner, midfielder – £7m

Wasn’t always a starter at Man City last season but when he did get on the pitch he invariably seemed to get a goal or an assist.

Is expected to resume the central midfield role that saw him bag 12 goals in all competitions during his final season at Aston Villa.

Jordan Henderson, midfielder – £7m

Ended the last campaign as Liverpool’s first-choice penalty taker, at one stage scoring in four consecutive games to underline the extra added attacking responsibility he may now revel in.
