Fantasy Premier League tips according to club? We’re in the throes of it, fantasy football heads – now sit still while we toss some Hull City bargains your slavering way!

Steve Bruce’s Lions will have Europe to contend with this year, which could have all sorts of repercussions on their league form.

An early start with the Europa League might even see them gain some momentum due to being a little further ahead than everyone else – should this happen, though, you can be fairly sure it won’t last.

Still, Bruce has added some shrewd-looking signings to an already solid side, so if they can remain defensively strong at home then they could yet finish mid-table.

Now, come bask in our Hull-flavoured Fantasy Premier League tips…

1. Robert Snodgrass – £6m

The former Norwich City midfielder has shown himself to be a productive top-flight performer over the last couple of seasons (12 goals, 11 assists), and there should be plenty of opportunities for assists in a Hull side that’s strong on set pieces.

2. Curtis Davies – £5m

One of the heads that Snodgrass’s crosses might land on is that of their captain Davies, scorer of five goals in all competitions last season.

If Hull can replicate their fine defensive home record of last season then Davies could make for an excellent squad option, to be started with in any Gameweek in which Hull have a winnable looking home game.

You should after all be building a squad, not merely a first XI with subs who’ll never play. That’s a lesson you learn through bitter experience of unforeseen absences.

If you fancy something even cheaper then you can first-choice full-backs Liam Rosenior and Maynor Figueroa for £4.5m each, but they’re unlikely to outperform Davies.

3. Tom Ince – £5.5m

If Bruce can get the best out of his erstwhile teammate’s son then your midfield will have itself quite the bargain.

Tom Huddlestone’s the same price, in case you fancy him to bounce back from his horror miss the other day and start banging them in like it seems like he should be able to.
