A new Fantasy Premier League season is upon us, so do consider these three potential Crystal Palace bargains.

The Eagles ended last season more or less on fire under Alan Pardew, finishing in the top 10 to make a mockery of Neil Warnock’s wretched outfit earlier in the campaign.

Scanning for Crystal Palace bargains, one’s attention is inevitably drawn to their array of midfield options. Particularly the following three guys.

Jason Puncheon, Crystal Palace – £6m

A rewarding source of goals and assists when he’s on top of his game, which over the last two campaigns has tended to come during the closing stages. Can he get off to a flyer under Pardew?

Wilfried Zaha, midfielder – £5.5m

Likely to operate as part of a front three following his strong end to last season, and his knack for a goal makes his listing as a midfielder a rather tempting proposition – remember, midfielders get 5 points per goal as opposed to 4 for a forward.

Yohan Cabaye, midfielder – £6.5m

Scored and created plenty under Pardew at Newcastle and is almost certain to start this season as Palace’s midfield linchpin.

BONUS BARGAIN: Julián Speroni, goalkeeper – £4.5m

At that price, the Argentine is one of the cheapest first-choice goalkeeping options available to you. You might want to consider rotating him with someone similarly priced.
