Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 30: Strikers
Manchester United v Liverpool fair jumps from the fixture list, furnished as it is with all of Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Luis Suárez and Daniel Sturridge – need we really say any more?
Suffice it to say, a combination of any three from the above four could see you decidedly ‘quids-in’ in the Fantasy points stakes.
Two popular picks from earlier in the season look to be back and in amongst the goals again – Everton’s Romelu Lukaku is priced at £8.2m and at home to Cardiff City this weekend, Newcastle United’s Loïc Rémy £8m and away to bottom-of-the-table Fulham.
Newcastle won 4-1 at Hull City last time out, so you have to fancy Rémy’s chances of leading the Cottagers a merry dance.
Southampton’s £6.6m Jay Rodriguez ended a four-game ‘barren spell’ with the winner at Crystal Palace over the weekend just passed, and on paper he has a good chance of keeping the momentum going at home to Norwich City in Gameweek 30.
Chris Hughton’s Canaries look solid enough at home but poor away, having lost each of their last four on the road – 2-0 at Everton, 2-1 at Cardiff City, 2-0 at West Ham United and 4-1 at Aston Villa.
Perhaps Rodriguez’s £7.3m teammate Rickie Lambert can expect to have a productive weekend too.
Oh, and Sergio Agüero is back now – just so you know. £12m.
