Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 26: Strikers
Liverpool have got a couple of in-form strikers you might have heard about. They’ll be getting all up in bottom-of-the-table Fulham’s faces on Wednesday, so you might want to gamble on an avalanche of goals.
A goalvalanche.
Then again, the Cottagers may be in buoyant mood after their last-gasp point at Old Trafford – you get nothing for buoyant moods, not in this game, although they can result in more vivacious performances.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Emmanuel Adebayor continues to look good value at £7.9m – he scored Spurs’ winner against Everton yesterday, and he’ll be up against a demoralised Newcastle United in this here Gameweek.
Hull City and Southampton is an intriguing one for the attacking talent on both sides: Nikica Jelavić and Shane Long for the former, Rickie Lambert and Jay Rodriguez for the latter.
Lambert is the most expensive of the four at a still-very-reasonable £7.1m, so you might find some joy in that lot.
Manchester City at home to Sunderland would have looked a landslide a few weeks ago, but incredibly City haven’t scored in either of their last two – exercise caution.
