One young Swansea fan managed to remain commendably serene in the face of a Southampton goal that looks likely to relegate his favourite team.

Manolo Gabbiadini’s 72nd minute strike left Carlos Carvahal’s Swans three points adrift of safety with one game remaining, a home fixture against relegated Stoke.

A win there could yet see them survive, although this would depend on Huddersfield losing both of their remaining matches.

Despite the gravity of Gabbiadini’s goal and the sea of despairing faces around him, this young Swansea supporter manages to keep his head and can be seen merely mouthing “oh well”.
