Watch a PSV child fan lead the PSV Eindhoven supporters in a energetic chant of Eindhoven We Love You during their friendly match against local side FC Eindhoven.

The young fan, identified as 8-year-old Djarno Hoppenbrouwers, sits on the shoulders of dad Marc and shushes the crowd before bellowing out the lead chant, to which his fellow supporters respond in kind.

Watch the PSV child fan lead the chant below:

Over on Reddit, where this story first appeared, KibboKift has attempted to translate the chant since “handily it appears to be in English”:

White boys (? Not sure about this one),
Come on you boys in red,
Eindhoven we love you,
Wooooaaoo

… or LophophanesCristatus offers an alternative suggestion on Twitter:

@TijsvandenBrink @RvN1776 C'mon boys (2x), C'mon you boys in red (2x), Eindhoven we love you (2x).

“It went well,” the newly self-appointed ‘captain of the stands’ told Omroep Brabant:

Thanks to me, they have won.

Even Ruud van Nistelrooy was suitably impressed:

This is the PSV spirit for the new season. Love it! #PSV1913 #Centenary http://t.co/o47yvE7HT2
