A Nottingham Forest fan was ejected from Southampton vs Derby County in Wednesday’s FA Cup 3rd round replay at the St Mary’s Stadium.

The man wore a Forest jersey as he sat among the home supporters and was spotted by the travelling Rams faithful, who chanted “you dirty Forest bastard” at him.

Forest and Derby are of course fierce local rivals and only four points currently separate them in the Championship table.

Not sure whether this is an actual forest fan or a saints fan wearing a Forest shirt in the Southampton end next to the derby fans, boiling piss, either way it’s my guy x pic.twitter.com/mtG0DDS3vy

Derby fans cheer when stewards fish out the Nottingham Forest interloper, who holds his arms aloft defiantly.

The stadium staff quickly force his arms back down and lead him down the steps to eject him from the ground.

As they do so, Southampton score a goal to send the home support into raptures and silence the taunts of the Derby fans.

The game itself finished 2-2, with Frank Lampard’s Derby side winning 5-3 on penalties to set up a 4th round trip to Accrington Stanley.
