Jürgen Klopp was singing with German punk band Die Toten Hosen in the early hours of the morning following Liverpool’s 3-1 Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid.

The German appeared in good spirits despite losing a sixth consecutive final, linking arms with the Düsseldorf group to sing:

We saw the European Cup
Madrid had all the f***ing luck
We swear we keep on being cool
We’ll bring it back to Liverpool

The band’s lead singer Campino, real name is Andreas Frege, has an English mother and became a Reds fan after seeing them play at Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Uefa Cup in the 1970s.

Die Toten Hosen translates into English as The Dead Trousers.
