A Japan supporter headed a wayward Senegal shot back towards the pitch with some aplomb during the two sides’ 2-2 draw at the World Cup in Russia.

With the score at 1-1 early in the second half, Badou Ndiaye’s effort went flying into the stands and was returned with no little skill by the supporter.

Liverpool’s Sadio Mané put Senegal ahead early on with Takashi Inui hitting back for the Japanese.

Moussa Wagué put the Senegalese back in front, with substitute Keisuke Honda equalising to become the first Japanese player to score in three World Cups.
