There was a rugby-like scrum on the away goal line in added time at the end of Sheffield Wednesday’s 1-2 defeat to Middlesbrough on Friday night.

Tony Pulis’s side survived the last-minute convergence at Hillsborough after the hosts swung in a dangerous looking corner that no one managed to convert.

Numerous players piled on top of one another after a defender kept the ball out at the far post.

Visiting midfielder Adam Clayton reacts intelligently, pushing the player forward so he did not slip back into the net.
