This is hilarious! 🤣

Last night at Dulwich Hamlet v Crystal Palace the tannoy repeatedly notified the crowd of a car which was blocking someone in 🚗

Dulwich Hamlet goalkeeper Preston Edwards ran off the pitch at half-time of a friendly against Crystal Palace after an announcement that his car was about to be towed.

Tannoy at @DulwichHamletFC v #cpfc gives warning about a parked car. Dulwich goalkeeper @Preston_Eddy turns around and shouts to crowd ‘That’s my car’. 😂

In the end a friend moved it for him, but Edwards was certainly alarmed by repeated messages over the loudspeaker.

Preston turned to us in the crowd pointing “that’s my car” 🤣 queue the chant “Preston move your car, Preston Preston move your car”

Edwards returned for the second half of a 5-0 defeat, later taking to Twitter to relive the moment:

Running late and saw no spaces. https://t.co/J9GJCy2u5f

I wasn’t a wind up. The first two times I ignored it. The third time they mentioned it getting towed. That’s when I panicked!
