England’s Dele Alli was being interviewed while walking down the side of a road in Russia when a few locals drove past in their car playing the British National Anthem.

In tribute to the player, who scored in the quarter-final against Sweden, the Russians wound down their windows so the tune of God Save the Queen could be heard before greeting the midfielder.

The interviewer says that the nationals have taken him to their hearts ahead of the World Cup semi-final in Moscow on Wednesday.
