There was confusion at the CAF Champions League quarter-final draw as two teams from the same group, ineligible to play against each other, were drawn against each other and the fixtures had to be rearranged.

Horoya from Conakry in Guinea and Wydad from Casablanca, Morocco had both qualified from Group C of the African football competition.

The live event, being broadcast from Cairo, was brought to a standstill as the presenters figured out what to upon realising the mistake.

There were were audible gasps from the audience and waiting press as the teams were named with new opponents.
