Borussia Dortmund fan Christian Kinner now holds the record for the world’s longest shout, after shouting the German word for goal for 43.56 seconds.
Officially documented and confirmed by Guinness World Records, the attempt took place in collaboration with Munich radio station SPORT1 fm who pitted three challengers against each other live on air.
Taking place in front of adjudicator Seyda Subasi Gemici, a sound engineer and some independent witnesses, the only rule is that the record breaker must maintain a sound level of at least 80 decibels through the attempt.
