According to reports the couple have been dating since before Spain’s victorious Euro 2012 campaign and will spend their honeymoon in the Seychelles.
Nuria Cunillera, who is a fashion journalist, married Xavi at a ceremony at Marimurta Botanical Gardens, in Blanes, Girona, northern Catalonia, Spain.
Numerous stars of the footballing world watched on as part of the 180-strong guest contingent at the reception in the 15th century monastery on Saturday.
Attendees included David Villa, Pepe Reina, Javier Mascherano, Víctor Valdés, Andrés Iniesta, Cesc Fàbregas and Lionel Messi.
