As New York Red Bulls supporters celebrated their 0-7 humiliation of local rivals New York City, they were told by stewards to temper their language and that they’d be ejected for swearing.

Away fans were left dismayed on Saturday, when officials at the Yankee Stadium said they would be kicked out if “caught cursing” by the club and reported the issue on Twitter:

We were just told we would be kicked out if we are caught CURSING. no joke. #NYCFC you're a joke and scared of us #RBNY #nyisred #NYDerby
