With a Universidad de Chile player keen to get on with their Copa Sudamericana match, watch as a grown-up Corinthians ball boy dives after receiving a light tap following his apparently deliberate misplacing of the ball.

With the hosts one-nil up in added time at the end of the first half on Thursday, the man appeared to see an opportunity to use the multi-ball system to his team’s advantage.

The new ball is dropped slightly wide of where it is wanted and, annoyed, Universidad de Chile’s number eighteen Gonzalo Jara gently lashes out.

After thinking for a moment, the ball boy clutches himself, begins to fall and dramatically dives behind the advertising hoardings.
