Confusion reigns as West Ham and Chelsea fans gear up for EFL rally
- By Football Burp
The fans, mistaken, plan to use tonight’s EFL Cup 4th round tie at the Olympic Stadium to stage a march protesting against “immigrants and that”.
Policing has been ramped up in anticipation of trouble at the match, but Football Burp understands the supporters intend to march side by side.
Speaking exclusively to Football Burp, Terry, a West Ham fan from Lewisham, outlined the aims of the demonstration.
He said: “Chelsea fans are scum, obviously, but we can all put our differences aside for the greater good.
“At the end of the day, we’re all united in our desire to see refugees have their teeth punched out.
“That might not have been exactly right, but it was definitely something to do with teeth.
“In any case, we’ll start by burning a jug-eared effigy of Gary Lineker and then we’ll march to the ground singing songs about not surrendering to various things.
“If it turns out we’re all mistaken and EFL means something else, we’ll simply revert to smashing each other’s heads in.”
The English Football League declined to comment.
