Arsène Wenger hopes to end his 22-year stint in English football on a high note by helping Burnley to a top 6 finish.

Speaking exclusively to Football Burp, the Frenchman described what he envisaged as his perfect sign-off.

He said: “I have enjoyed some great successes in my career, but guiding Burnley to 6th in the Premier League would be among the best of them.

“No disrespect to Ashley Barnes, but we’re talking about a side with Ashley Barnes up front here. Ashley Barnes!

“I mean, if I can get Ashley Barnes finishing higher up the league than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, then truly I am a miracle worker.

“Oh yeah, winning the Europa League would be nice too.”
