Last week we brought you “Sturridge Dance”, the new track from JMC honouring Liverpool and England forward Daniel, and we got wondering: which other dancing footballers of note could we package it alongside?

We shan’t go back as far as Roger Milla, so let’s kick off our recent history of dancing footballers with this fan-made video for “Sturridge Dance”…

Ronaldinho dancing onstage with 50 Cent? You know you’d like to see it, and we know you’d like to see it too. That’s why it’s right here…

…and for similar reasons we also bring you new Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal doing this half-baked sort of Bhangra at last year’s Amsterdam Gay Pride parade…

Wondering what former Aston Villa, West Ham United, Valencia and Norway target man John Carew is up to these days?

Well, it seems he likes to dress up as Neo from The Matrix and dance ‘the Antenna’ with his son…

“Antenna” was a hit for Ghanaian artist Fuse ODG, whose preceding single “Azonto” referenced a dance which is popular with, amongst others, Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor and former Sunderland forward Asamoah Gyan…

All of which brings us to last year’s outbreak of “Harlem Shake” videos, of which we present you with the following:

By now you’ll either be shaking along or shaking your head, so we’ll just leave you to that.
