Recommendations include players from Bournemouth, Everton, Leicester City and Southampton.

Josh King, BOU – £7.5m

Now listed as a striker rather than a midfielder, but if he scores 16 goals again then he’ll still be cheap.

New team-mate Jermain Defoe is worth considering at £8m, but King ended the last campaign much the stronger.

Sandro Ramírez, EVE – £7.5m

He’s slipped in relatively unnoticed amidst Everton’s flurry of transfer activity, but he scored 14 goals in 30 games for Málaga in La Liga last season.

Jamie Vardy, LEI – £8.5m

His price has dropped after last season’s diminished goal return, but he scored frequently enough in the second half of the season to suggest he could return to the levels of Leicester’s title-winning campaign.

Manolo Gabbiadini, SOU – £7m

Dried up after a blistering start to his Saints career, so this is a tough one to call. However, his favourable opening fixtures are hard to ignore.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, EVE – £5m

By no means a sure starter at Everton, but given his appearances last season and his successful summer with England U-20s, he’s certainly one to watch.
