Fantasy Premier League tips Gameweek 36 defenders round-up

Strengthen your defence with this Fantasy Premier League tips Gameweek 36 defenders round-up and unlock your fantasy football potential.

Recommended selections this week include players from Chelsea, Arsenal, Bournemouth, Everton and Leicester City.

Gary Cahill/Marcos Alonso, CHE – £6.6m/£6.8m

They might seem like obvious choices but if you’re balking at the price then bear in mind their remaining fixtures are home to Middlesbrough, away to West Brom, home to Watford and home to Sunderland.

The West Brom and Watford fixtures both take place in Gameweek 37, so it’s worth thinking ahead.

Gabriel, ARS – £4.8m

A cheap way into Arsenal’s defence for their back-to-back Double Gameweeks, starting with games at home to Man Utd and away to Southampton this time around.

The Gunners then play away at Stoke and home against Sunderland in Gameweek 37.

Charlie Daniels, BOU – £5.2m

Bournemouth’s defensive record has improved dramatically ahead of the home game against out-of-form Stoke, and Daniels has the odd goal in him.

Mason Holgate, EVE – £4.1m

Could conceivably keep a clean sheet in each of his next two fixtures, away to Swansea and home to Watford. He doesn’t have any Double Gameweeks, but then he is cheap.

Robert Huth, LEI – £4.9m

Has a good fixture at home to Watford this weekend, but be warned this is followed by a Double Gameweek of matches against Man City and Spurs.

Having said that, he did score twice away to Man City last season…

Good luck and happy selecting!
