Fantasy Premier League tips Gameweek 33: Defenders
- By Football Burp
Strengthen your defence with this Fantasy Premier League tips Gameweek 33 defenders round-up and unlock your fantasy football potential.
Recommended selections this week include players from Burnley, Liverpool and Arsenal.
James Tarkowski, BUR – £4.5m
Burnley are the only team with four fixtures over the next three Gameweeks – they’re away to Watford this weekend, home to Leicester and Chelsea in Gameweek 34, then away to Stoke in Gameweek 35.
However, if you want Burnley defensive coverage for that spell, you’re better off with goalkeeper Nick Pope on the basis that he can pick up extra points for making multiple saves.
Then again, with Tom Heaton fit again, will Pope keep his place? Decisions, decisions…
Andrew Robertson, LIV – £5m
With three assists in his last five games, in which time Liverpool have only conceded three times, Robertson is the outstanding fantasy defender ahead of this weekend’s Merseyside derby at Everton.
His next two fixtures after that look good too, with a home game against Bournemouth followed by a visit to rock-bottom West Brom.
Ben Chilwell, LEI – £4.3m
An assist in each of his last two games sets him up nicely for a home game against Newcastle this weekend, followed by a Double Gameweek of fixtures away to Burnley and at home to Southampton.
Shkodran Mustafi, ARS – £5.4m
His last two games have yielded scores of 12 and 8, and his next three games are at home to Southampton, away to Newcastle and home to West Ham.
Good luck and happy selecting!
