Fantasy Premier League tips Gameweek 22: Captains
- By Football Burp
This Fantasy Premier League tips Gameweek 22 captains round-up is here to help you select a skipper and a handy vice-captain.
1. Eden Hazard/Pedro, CHE (midfielders)
Diego Costa too if he deigns to make himself available, otherwise these two midfielders offer Chelsea’s sharpest goal threat for the home game against Hull.
2. Alexis Sánchez/Olivier Giroud, ARS (midfielder/forward)
Home to Burnley could be a struggle against a parked bus, or it could conceivably yield goals aplenty for an Arsenal side that just won 4-0 at Swansea.
Much depends on Giroud’s fitness – if he fails to recover in time then Sánchez will in all likelihood start up front.
3. Zlatan Ibrahimović, MUN (forward)
Away to Stoke City isn’t the most straightforward of fixtures but Zlatan’s in such fine form it scarcely matters.
4. Harry Kane/Dele Alli/Christian Eriksen, TOT (forward/midfielder/midfielder)
It says something for each side’s recent form that Sergio Agüero is arguably only the fourth best captain option out of Man City v Spurs.
5. A Liverpool player
Home to Swansea is a welcoming fixture, but it’s hard to pick an obvious captain choice – Philippe Coutinho’s only just back from injury, Roberto Firmino’s been out of form for a while, Adam Lallana’s not scored in a few games and it’s not certain who (if either) will start out of Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge will start. Keep an eye on developments throughout the week.
Good luck and happy selecting!
