Let’s do this…
Nacer Chadli, Tottenham Hotspur – £6.6m
The Belgian scored his sixth goal of the season in the 2-1 defeat to Stoke City last time out, leaving him second only to Alexis Sánchez in the Fantasy Premier League midfielders table.
Spurs have been rotten of late but Chadli’s still been scoring, so don’t back against him doing so again at struggling Hull City.
Frank Lampard, Manchester City – £5.4m
The worse City do, the likelier they are to turn to their on-loan Chelsea legend for a goal – and, despite his advancing years, he always looks dangerous when he is called upon.
As long as you have a decent substitute then it won’t matter so much if Lampard doesn’t play.
Victor Moses, Stoke City – £5.5
Moses has either scored or assisted in each of Stoke’s previous three games at the Britannia Stadium, justifying faith that he may continue in this vein at home to Burnley.
Oscar, Chelsea – £8.4m
Recent goal-scoring form makes him a decent bet to notch at home to West Bromwich Albion, while he’s also £1m cheaper than Cesc Fàbregas and £1.5m cheaper than Eden Hazard.
Theo Walcott, Arsenal – £9m
Arsène Wenger says he won’t rush him back in, but surely the Gunners’ recent woes will usher Walcott into a pivotal role for the home game against Manchester United.
Good luck and happy selecting!
